British Taekwondo Association joins the family under the ITC

Published Sep 19th, 2020

The International Taekwondo Council a UK government registered National Governing Body for Taekwon-do bringing ever more persons together as family.

Fantastic News for Taekwon-do as the ITC welcome onboard the British Taekwondo Association and namely their Chief Instructor Master Stuart Usher 6th Degree.
The British Taekwondo Association is one of the oldest groups representing Taekwon-do in the UK, founded in 1967 initially By Grandmaster Tony Quigley and Grandmaster Fred Lee.
The BTA will be happy to assist all WT practitioners to work with and become members of the BTA if so wished.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Usher, Grandmaster Roy Kilner and also Grandmaster Robert Wenban for their support of the ITC and its mission to bring all of TKD and Martial arts together through friendship.

The BTA is officially now a member association within the ITC and is encouraged to keep their own original sovereignty but recognise the International Taekwondo Council as their official NGB.
